Alissa Hanni powers Knights’ split

Alissa Hanni hammered two home runs Friday night, including a grand slam, to help the Norwell varsity girls’ softball team gain a split in a doubleheader against Heritage.
Hanni’s grand slam was her sixth of the season and gave the Knights an 8-5 victory in game two on Norwell’s Senior Day, which honored her sister, Kayla, and Morgan Chilton.
Her first homer was a two-run shot in the first inning of game one, which Heritage stormed back to win 6-2.
