45 mph will be Adams Street’s limit

The speed limit on the reconstructed Adams Street will be 45 mph.
Police Chief Tammy Schaffer was present at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Bluffton Common Council, and she said BPD officers in marked cars used their radar guns on Adams Street traffic recently. Most vehicles were going between 40 and 50 mph, she said, some slower, some faster. The highest speed recorded on radar was 62 mph.
